Scott Natzke, Director of Business Services Scott joined GLM in October of 2007. Part of his twenty years of experience as an accountant and tax professional was spent with the prestigious accounting firm of Price Waterhouse. During these twenty years Scott has managed many successful companies, along with their projects and their teams in the Chicago metropolitan area in the credit and banking area. These skills are always critical but even more so during these challenging economic times. Scott’s unique understanding of small business along with his knowledge of accounting, credit and tax makes him an invaluable asset both to GLM and more importantly to his clients. He not only has the classical book smarts but also the street smarts that set him aside from other accountants. Scott lives in the “real world”. Scott orchestrates the start up of a company, assists in the development, determines strategy and aids in operations of businesses to help the client meet the goals they have set for their business and personally for themselves. Scott travels to the client’s office or store to council the owner on the results of the financial records prepared by GLM. He verifies that records are kept for tax purposes and that a firm's tax returns are filled out properly. Scott’s value to the client’s is the sound business advice the he gives them. Scott must be familiar with the tax laws concerning his clients' professions or businesses. It is his ability to communicate well with his clients that sets him apart. GLM clients file comfortable when Scott discusses their records with government auditors or Internal Revenue Service officials.
